European Coalition commemorates World Day for Animals in Laboratories

Today on World Day for Animals in Laboratories, the European Coalition to End Animal Experiments (ECEAE) is highlighting the plight of those animals who continue to suffer in laboratories around the world for the sake of vanity.   

Despite achieving a ban on such cruel tests within the European Union, the European Commission is currently considering options to weaken or postpone the 2013 marketing ban that would see all cosmetics ingredients tested on animals anywhere in the world outlawed in the EU.

The ECEAE’s No Cruel Cosmetics campaign is calling for the 2013 deadline to be imposed with no exceptions and no delay.  Over 170,000 concerned European citizens have already added their voices to our call.  Please join them today by signing our petition.
